About Ellie
Eleanor “Ellie” Halloran (née Costa) was born on 30 September 1924 in Fall River, Massachusetts, the daughter of Manuel Costa and Maria da Conceição Silva. She graduated in Fall River in 1942 (B.M.C. Durfee High School).
She married Joseph Halloran at Saint Anne's Church, Fall River, Massachusetts in the spring of 1947. They had three children, Cathy, Tom and Mike. Ellie lived on Sydney Street, Dorchester, Massachusetts in 1950. From 1962 to 1989 she worked as a school secretary at William E. Russell School in Dorchester, Massachusetts. She died in 2015 in Boston, Massachusetts. Ellie is buried at Cedar Grove Cemetery, Dorchester, Massachusetts.
