About Patrick
Patrick Halloran was born on 17 March 1858 in Ennis, County Clare, Ireland, the son of Michael Halloran and Catherine Ryan. He emigrated from Queenstown, County Cork, Ireland in April 1882. In May 1882 he came to Boston, Massachusetts, arriving aboard the SS Batavia. From 1882 to 1923 Patrick worked as a longshoreman in Boston.
He married Bridget Murphy in Boston on 12 February 1884. They had two children, Jack and Mary. He was naturalized in Boston on 12 May 1890. Patrick lived in Boston in 1900. He lived in Dorchester, Massachusetts in 1910 and 1920. He died on 4 November 1931 in Boston, at the age of 73. Patrick is buried at Cedar Grove Cemetery, Dorchester, Massachusetts.
